Junior Pricing Analyst

Objective: The Junior Pricing Analyst is responsible for providing support and production of reports for OTI’s services and clients. This position will be part of OTI’s Media Intelligence Team, and will provide cross-departmental research support. The Junior Pricing Analyst will be responsible for the comprehensive analysis of products, pricing, and promotional information as they relate to MSO services.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Daily, ongoing industry and media research, particularly as it relates to new product or price-related activities within the media and telecommunications industry to provide rapid alerts of changes to clients.
  • Pricing analysis of Video, Internet, Voice, and Bundled products for downstream use in the production of client deliverables.
  • Report production and presentation of qualitative and quantitative analyses.
  • Assist with additional Ad Hoc reporting and analysis as assigned.

 Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in the media and communications industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics or related field. 
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills. Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent Communication skills. Comfortable interacting with and presenting to superiors, colleagues and clients at various levels.
  • Familiarity within the telecom, cable/satellite TV and consumer electronics sectors is a plus.
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills and high proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications. Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint and Word required. Experience with Power BI and/or other data visualization applications is a plus.

Content Coordinator

Objective: Reporting to the Director of OTI Portal, the Content Coordinator is a member of the One Touch Intelligence SaaS Portal team that will deliver exceptional content management and support for our clients’ custom research and competitive intelligence portals. The coordinator will assist with digital communications and recommend best practices to help maximize platform useage and effectiveness. This role interfaces daily with OTI operations staff, contractors, other OTI departments and a variety of key client contacts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Daily portal content management (monitoring and posting) of documents to client portals based on agreed upon business rules. This may include content provided by OTI Intelligence teams, clients, and/or third-party research providers.
  • Provide superior customer service and user support via email, live chat, phone and/or screen share. May assist with client onboarding and training.
  • Prepare reports on portal usage analytics and provide recommendations to improve key metrics applicable to each clients’ use case.
  • Contribute to the production of digital communications and other report and data delivery.
  • QA and bug testing of the OTI portal application. Develop, document and maintain thorough testing procedures while ensuring that validated deployments meet functional and design specification requirements.
  • Provide cross-departmental support to the OTT data acquisition team as needed, including periodic monitoring and interaction with various media sites to mine and cleanse relevant information for downstream use in the production of client deliverables.

Industry Research Analyst

Objective: The Industry Research Analyst is responsible for providing support and production of reports for OTI’s services and clients. This position will provide cross-departmental research support and will be responsible for the effective acquisition of intelligence data, content auditing, and assembly of weekly, monthly and quarterly analytical reports.  As a key position within OTI’s operations team, this role interfaces daily with internal and third-party analysts, OTI operations staff, and a variety of client contacts, and is a key contributor to the Digital Media Intelligence service.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Daily, ongoing industry and media research, particularly as it relates to emerging technologies within the media and telecommunications industry.
  • Monitor and synthesize complex sets of metrics and industry news, and effectively communicate quantitative results and qualitative insights to a wide range of audiences within the communications industry.
  • Report production and presentation of qualitative and quantitative analyses.
  • Respond and produce additional Ad Hoc Reporting Analysis requests and assignments as required.

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years if experience in the media and communications industry. 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, economics or related field. 
  • 2+ years of experience in conducting and communicating data-driven analyses; proven experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis and report writing.

Junior Developer

Objective: The Junior Developer is responsible for providing cross-departmental support to the OTT data acquisition team, dmi.tv team, and the Media and Industry Analytics teams. This position will provide daily indexing and analysis of content available across various media sites. This includes all steps in the data management process with a heavy emphasis on data extraction and dataset transformation. This role may also assist with ad-hoc project needs.  As a key position within OTI’s operations team, this role interfaces daily with OTI operations staff, contractors and other OTI departments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Data Acquisition/Auditing: daily monitoring of various media sites using Python, SQL and other tools to mine and cleanse relevant information for downstream use in the production of client deliverables.
  • Data Cleansing: Ongoing identification and correction of corrupt or inaccurate records within relational databases and datasets.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting & Analysis: respond and deliver upon additional data requests and assignments across the OTT data acquisition team and all other OTI departments.

 Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a computer, technology or data related discipline. 
  • 1+ years of experience in data analysis and/or programming.
  • Experience in automating data collection and analysis with Python using a Windows environment.
  • Fluency in Python with experience in libraries such as pandas, Selenium, Requests, lxml, Scrapy, pytesseract, PIL, recordlinkage etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of GIT.
  • Experience with the ETL cycle.
  • Experience managing data in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills and high proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with online streaming sites: Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime etc.
  • Ability to interact with command line interface via DOS and BASH.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
